Eternal Journey

This artwork was born from a childhood memory.
When I was a child, my family and I were expelled from our home.
I remember often looking up at the sky and thinking:

“At this exact point, one day, we’ll have a home.”

From that dream came this painting,  a vision of hope, journey, and light.

At the center, a ship sails through a burning sky, the journey of Ulysses, a path of inner search, return, and faith.
Above, four angels watch over the scene, carrying protection and blessing.
The Lion of Judah, symbol of strength and spiritual royalty, stands on the left, a reminder of King David’s lineage and the enduring power of Jewish faith.
Facing it, a white horse, a messianic symbol in Judaism, represents purity and the promise of redemption.

In the top right, the Little Prince appears, quietly observing this world filled with stories and symbols.
Beneath him, a collage of ancient tapestries weaves memories and roots together, fragments of the past feeding the future.
silver Hamsa brings divine protection, while the 770 building in New York, home of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, connects the artwork to the light of Torah and the Rebbe’s inspiration.

Each element floats between dream and realityheaven and earth.
It is a work of memory, hope, and faith, a painted prayer transforming the wounds of childhood into an eternal journey toward light.
